W Hydrocolloids is Now BRC Certificated

W Hydrocolloids, Inc. (formerly PCI Worldwide, Inc.) wishes to announce that the company is now British Retail Consortium (BRC) Food Safety Certificated. The company which is part of the W Group of Companies (www.wgroup.com.ph) and carries the RICO Carrageennan (www.rico.com.ph) brand worldwide undertook the rigorous BRC Audit from January 28-30, 2013 and received their certificate in April.

W Hydrocolloids considers BRC Certification as part of its commitment to customers in manufacturing safe and consistent quality products. The company Chairman, Mr. Wee Lee Hiong, stated that “this was an auspicious start for 2013 and their customers and partners should expect more milestones from W Hydrocolloids.” The company manufactures carrageenan, a multifunctional food ingredient from seaweeds that are grown in the Philippines and other parts of Asia.
